Why We've Added Paid AI Usage
Llumo was built around a simple idea: the software used to understand your visibility across AI search shouldn't need to cost thousands every month.
Our BYOK model helps make that possible.
Connect supported providers such as Cloro and OpenRouter, and Llumo can use your accounts when running prompts.
But BYOK isn't for everybody.
Some users told us:
"I just want to sign up and start tracking."
They don't want another provider account.
They don't want to buy API credits elsewhere.
They don't want to find API keys or configure anything.
They just want Llumo to work.
So that's what we've added.
Option 1: Llumo Plans With AI Usage Included
The easiest option is now a standard Llumo subscription.
Choose a plan and we'll include AI usage directly within it.
There's no need to connect third-party API keys unless you want to.

Option 2: Pay As You Go With Prepaid AI Usage
Don't want another monthly subscription?
We've added that too.
You can simply prepay a Llumo balance and draw it down as you use the service.
The minimum top-up is currently $10, and you can add more whenever you need it.
This can be particularly useful if you're:

Testing a new group of prompts

Doing one-off client work
Not running enough monitoring to justify a monthly subscription

Option 3: Bring Your Own Keys and Use Llumo for Free
This isn't going anywhere.
If you're comfortable managing your own AI provider accounts, you can still connect your own supported API keys.
No Llumo subscription. No Llumo usage limits.
Your provider charges you directly for whatever AI usage you generate.
This is particularly useful for power users, developers, agencies and anyone already using providers such as OpenRouter or Cloro.
Instead of buying AI usage from us, Llumo simply uses your provider account.
